Our new couch-view

Marianne and I both enjoy watching TV-shows and movies, so we finally got around to getting a decent setup for watching them:

Ratatouille

Went to see Ratatouille yesterday, it was awesome! Had its dull moments, but overall an amazing achievement by the Pixar team. Great story, fantastic short (Lifted) before the movie – laughed so hard I had trouble breathing… A must-see for Pixar-fans, and everyone else for that matter.

Blogging

I’ve been going for first price in the “blog most rarely updated”-competition, but I’ve given up and will hopefully write more often from now on, about (more or) less interesting stuff. Yesterday we went bowling, and I’m proud to announce that my new personal best is 163. To be honest I have absolutely no idea [...]

Avada Kedavra!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone - very good movie.. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - very good movie.. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - a bit of a disappointment, since the third book is my favourite so far.. Yesterday, I went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with really high expectations, both [...]

The kind that’s so cleverly made that you’re constantly stressed because you think something awful is going to happen, and find yourself wanting to close or cover [...]

Finding Neverland

There are so many things I want to write about… About growing up, about why we “grown-ups” stop playing, about being who you are… But I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to accurately describe all those thoughts. Instead, I strongly suggest that if you haven’t already seen it, watch Finding Neverland and let this wonderful movie take [...]

War of the Worlds

Low expectations, decent movie… As earlier mentioned, I didn’t have any expectations to the movie at all, which usually is a good thing. Despite a few issues with the plot, and some flaky acting-performances, I enjoyed the movie. The special effects and the battle-scenes were really amazing, and Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning did a [...]

The Forgotten

Want to see a good movie? I recommend The Forgotten! It’s been a while since I’ve been to the cinema, so today me and Marianne went to see The Forgotten. I know from experience that I’m pretty picky when it comes to movies, so I usually go without any expectations at all. Today, I knew the [...]

The incredible Incredibles

Pre-premiere of The Incredibles – just an incredible movie! I woke up this morning from the sound of an incoming SMS. It was from Walter, asking if I wanted to come with him to see the pre-premiere of The Incredibles. My response was of course an enthusiastic and loud YES! He had two tickets, so I asked Ian if [...]
