Kopi Luwak

About a week ago, I ordered an early birthday present for Marianne; a really cool handbag from Morelle.

The package arrived by mail today, and when we opened it, there were a couple of surprises inside!
Morelle package
A beautiful bowtie purse to compliment the handbag, and this:
Kopi Luwak
A bag of Kopi Luwak coffeebeans – only the most expensive coffee in the world!

Thanks ever so much for the surprises guys!

You are very welcome :) How was the coffee? Did it taste like the most exclusive coffee in the world??!!

The coffee was really good, but I probably don’t have a good coffee-palate, because I couldn’t really taste the difference between Kopi Luwak and Blue Mountain ;)

I’m embarrassed to say I wasn’t really thrown off my chair either. I’m suspecting it was because our coffee machine hadn’t been cleaned for over a year! (i mean with the special cleaning stuff, we do wash it :)

Hehe, it’s probably just that we have to develop our coffee-tastebuds :)

“Kopi Luwak is coffee made from coffee berries which have been eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of the Asian Palm Civet”

Hmmm… I really think the coffee machine should be washed _after_ making that coffee :)

    Nice looking handbags!

Hehe, kinda creepy to know how the coffee is made, but it tastes good just the same ;)
