“Finally” back in town, after three weeks of wonderful holiday. Our trip to Mallorca was really nice, not without hitches, but all in all a great trip! More about this in a long post with photos and tips for what to do and not do if you ever find yourself on Mallorca.
Getting back to work after being away for over three weeks was also quite interesting, it’s funny how tons and tons of email with more or less interesting questions, resulting in time-consuming tasks, can kill motivation to work on the larger projects. At least I was able to find the time to do something I’ve had on my todo-list for a long time now: dynamic PDF-generation with custom fonts. This is something I need for an application for a customer, and it seemed easy enough to do from reading the FPDF-documentation, but turned out to be a cumbersome task. I’m writing a post describing the process, mainly as a reminder for myself incase I need to do the same thing again later on a different computer, but also for others who may have (had) the same problems as me.
