Opera bug PFH (plea for help)

At work, I’m constantly seeing a bug that nobody has been able to reproduce, and it’s driving me mad.

The bug seems to be related to JPEG decoding, as the problem occurs with JPEG images being garbled, such as this example:

The weird thing is that I’m seeing it more often on some sites than others, one of the sites I’m always seeing it on is play.com. Several people have tested this, but haven’t been able to reproduce, so if anyone has seen this I’d be grateful for any help in tracking down the cause. It might even be network related, so I’m not counting on this being easy to track down.

Details for my computer at work, where I’m seeing this bug every day:
Machine Name: Power Mac G5
Machine Model: PowerMac11,2
CPU Type: PowerPC G5 (1.1)
Number Of CPUs: 2
CPU Speed: 2.3 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 1 MB

Slot: SLOT-1
VRAM (Total): 256 MB
Vendor: nVIDIA (0x10de)
Device ID: 0×0141

This bug has also been confirmed on my colleagues computer which is basically the same, only with an ATI display adapter. I guess this backs up the network theory that Joen suggested.

If anyone has seen this bug, or have ideas about how to troubleshoot, please let me know (I will test with my work computer on a different network, just haven’t gotten around to it yet).

Maybe it\’s related to a bug that was just fixed with Content-Length values with leading 0s?
