Yesterday was the second puppy-class, and a very successful one. We learned a lot of useful tricks for training Max, and he did a great job throughout the course – as long as there were treats within range…
We haven’t been following this up lately, but Max seems to be a very quick learner. His most recent – and probably most charming – trick is to do a “high five”, as demonstrated in the photo above (click for a bigger version). It’s not the most useful thing in the world, but anything we can teach him is positive, as it’s extremely important for Jack Russells to get to use their brains.
I’ll try to remember my camera for the next class, and post some photos. BTW I’m looking for a better photo gallery software, since Gallery 2 is sluggish to say the least on Dreamhost servers. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

I\’m actually considering writing my own gallery application, after all I don\’t need all kinds of advanced functionality, only a basic gallery with the possibility to upload images, have nested albums, maybe do some funny things with thumbnails and highlights – that\’s pretty much it
