We took Max to his first puppy-class yesterday, and he seemed to enjoy it. I mean, take a cute little dog, add lots of dog lovers who wants to pet him and tell him how cute he is, then add plenty of candy and treats for training, as well as saying hi to other canines of various breeds, and you pretty much have the perfect recipe for a dog’s dream day.
The first night was mainly an introduction, but we did some basic training, and Max did a wonderful job. The trainer said something like “wow, you’re a boiled potato, aren’t you” when she said hi to Max. I have no idea what she meant, but she finished with “but that exactly how you should be!”, so I’ll keep assuming it’s a positive thing. Might be related to his eagerness to lick the living daylights out of everyone he meets…
Photos of upcoming puppy-classes will be posted later.
A boiled potato? I\’ve heard a lot of nicknames and terms of endearment for pets, but that\’s a new one
Hehe, I\’m sure she meant something related to him being quite high-strung and kept jumping up and down to say hi to her
\r\n\r\nI\’ve never heard \”kokt potet\” being used to describe that behaviour before
