I have been dreaming about seeing a-ha in concert, and today I finally got the chance. Despite rain, mud, and a rather painful achilles, I really enjoyed the concert. The highlights were the old classics “Crying in the Rain”, “Manhattan Skyline”, “Summer Moved On”, and “Hunting High and Low”.
I don’t have a written list of “things to do before I die”, but if I did, this concert would be on that list.
Now I’m going to watch a concert DVD of a-ha from Valhall in 2002, where Anneli Drecker sang backup vocals, and made the concert one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen!
Bwahaha, *waves backstage pass*
Really?? You lucky lucky man!
How was it?
Only 400 things left on the list?
Hehe, thereabout
\r\n\r\nI should try to maintain a list so high that I will never manage to get through it unless I live to be 600 years old. Always aim for the stars
wow! That must have been fantastic. would have loved to have heard manhattan skyline.
It was a really fantastic concert. If you like Manhattan Skyline you should get the concert DVD I link to in this post, it has a wonderful version of that song
But.. seriously… dude… AHA? *shakes head in dismay*
I think a-ha has great music!
Plus, I was listening to them a lot when I was a kid, especially when Take on me was a hit.
See I can\’t even spell it right – a-ha
