Summer holiday!

After a rather hectic start of the summer holiday, I’m now at my mum’s house.

By hectic, I mean this:
Flying up north, sitting in front of bunch of crazy kids on a sugar high. I usually like sleeping on planes, but this time I just had to give up. They were kicking and screaming and having the time of their life, almost making me want to grab a parachute and get out of there…

When I finally arrived Langnes airport in Tromsø around 00:30, dead tired, my brother-in-law Jøran picked me up so we could go to my grandparent’s house to pick up some stuff we were going to bring to my mum’s. After eating, talking to my grandma, carrying lots of stuff and preparing the car, we were ready to start the two-hour trip to Bardu around 02:00 (that’s 2AM).

When I came to my mum’s house, I was so tired I just went to the bathroom and headed straight for bed. I got into bed around 05:00, and I had almost fallen asleep when I heard my sister was awake, so I assumed my nieceThea was too. After a bit of catching-up and baby-chat, I finally fell asleep around 06:00.

Plans for today (it’s now 13:00, and I’m a zombie) is to spend time with my family, playing with Thea, playing with Thea some more, and then probably playing with Thea again.
