Music that grows on you

Now and then I come across a new tune that I at first don’t think much of, but after a while sounds better and better… This is the case with Robyn‘s new single Be Mine. It’s frequently played on MTV, so it should be hard to miss!

MTV? When did they start actually playing music? Whenever I turn on MTV it\’s some stupid reality show or something. Good thing Canal Digital is removing it soon.\r\n\r\nAnyway, I can agree that it is really good. It\’s played all the time on radio. I\’m thinking about getting the album, I did buy her previous one, but returned it when I found out it wasn\’t a real CD (it was one of those copy-protected plastic disks that aren\’t CDs).

I usually turn on MTV in the morning to get some music to wake me up… \r\n\r\nI didn\’t listen much to Robyn\’s previous album, and I\’ve only heard the single from the last one, but if the single gives a clue about the quality of the rest of the album it should be pretty good.

Could it be the stripping that makes the song \”sound\” better? http://www.vg.no/pub/vgart.hbs?artid=276217

Actually my reaction was that she looked worse in this video than in other videos and pictures I\’ve seen of her… But maybe stripping targets our subconscious mind, making us like the music better? ;)
