Shrek 2 movie rating…
Me, Daniel, Allan, and Åse went to see Shrek 2.
My expectations were high, since the trailers I had seen gave a good impression of the movie. “Donkey: I’m a STALLION baby!”
My impressions of the movie when leaving the cinema were mixed: don’t get me wrong, it was a good movie! Great animations, really funny, entertaining and so on, but there were some things that ruined some of the fun. For instance there was a part of the movie that was just boring. I can’t really remember what part, but I just know that there was a short period where I found myself looking around, thinking about other things. This is usually a bad sign, because I tend to get into good movies to such an extent that times flies and I don’t notice people around me and so on. This is probably the reason why a short period of boredom was so noticeable: it pulled me out of the trance that the good parts of the movie brought me into.
I also realized that I prefer Pixar‘s animations to Dreamworks’. Now and then I had the feeling that they tried too hard to make some of the characters humanlike.. at least too humanlike to my taste.
