Hot, humid, and no A/C

It’s been mad the last few days, temperatures of up to 30 degrees centigrade…

This weekend we went to visit my dad in Verdal, which is a few hundred kilometers north of Oslo. We had a really nice weekend, with barbeques, sitting on the porch until late in the evening, enjoying the fantastic weather we’ve been having lately.

The weather was really warm in Verdal too, and a lot more humidity than in Oslo, so I was sweating like a pig all the time… I felt really dehydrated after the flight back to Oslo last night, and I’ve already filled up my waterbottle here at work twice since I came in this morning. Wish we had working A/C at the office so it could be a bit cold at least now that we’re at work, but noooooo… it’s probably close to 30 degrees in the office I share with Walter right now, and we only have a table-fan that hardly makes it any colder. Well, I guess we’ll just have to do our best and drink lots of water and eat ice-cream. (EDIT: I just got an email from our office manager saying the ventilation system is down in the entire building… phew…)
