“Cellphone-iquette”

Say what?

To all you people who have no problems talking loudly about your personal life on the cellphone while sitting on a crowded bus or train; I couldn’t care less about what you’re wearing at tonight’s party, or what you’re having for dinner, or certainly not what you prefer to do in the weekend…</rant>

Yesterday when I took the 37 bus to Jernbanetorget, there was a woman talking on the phone with her husband/boyfriend/whatever, and she didn’t even try to lower her voice.. it was like she wanted everyone to hear the conversation, and believe me – we all did! Even the people sitting in the back section of the bus (we’re talking about one of the “two-jointed” buses that are probably 25 meters long) would have no problem knowing that she was picking up some chicken at the store. I mean, not that I was even remotely interested to hear about the chicken, I just became so fascinated by the fact that she didn’t seem to care if people could hear her, that I couldn’t stop listening…
